Why I don't recommend Amazon for Polish bras

When I found my Nessa bra (made in Poland) for such a good deal on Fruugo.ca , which is the exact same website as Lingerie-Superstore.com in the U.S., I then perused over to Amazon to look at the price.

Price on amazon.com for Nessa bra in 32J US or (32GG UK)

Note: It says shipping from Mio Destino in the UK. If it didn't fit, you do have to pay to return it, it's not a prime item with free returns. So, free shipping to get the bra, but with tax is was $54.12 total.

Here is Lingerie-Superstore.com's price

$11.95 + $5.49 shipping. Awesome! Way cheaper.

Also, looking at Canada's site, amazon.ca

$64.81 cad + 5.99 cad shipping. Ships from Mio Destino in the UK -so they're all coming from the same place!

So, here is the price in Canada on Fruuga.ca

Again, it's so much less. $15.95 cad + $7.49 shipping. Amazon never gives you the discount!

12 Reasons why you should go Polish!

1. Ethically made in the EU

2. Fabrics made in the EU, so low carbon footprint.

3. Size inclusive.

4. STYLE

5. Quality, value, band for your buck.

5. Different shapes for different breast shapes/sizes

6. Many different price points/affordable.

7. Supporting small businesses

8. Woman-owned companies

9. Several are made-to-order fashion (Comexim, Ewa Michalak, Avocouture)

10. Value (economic advantage)

11. Diversity in design

(as far as shapes)

12. Diversity in colours (see seasonal analysis).

13. If you're in Canada, these are the most affordable (unless you buy from eBay) because BraStop is starting to charge duty fees on their orders, which are as much as 2/3 of the price of the items. See review below. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.brastop.com

although, I've never ordered from UK eBay, so who knows! I know they're changing their shipping on eBay, so maybe we will have to pay duty fees when buying cheap bras from the UK. That's why I buy Polish bras.

Fruugo.ca and Lingerie-Superstore.com for bra shopping - Did I just find a glitch in the matrix?

I'm wondering if I have found a glitch in the matrix; I was doing some investigation re: where to buy Polish bras in the U.S., and I came across this website Lingerie-Superstore.com

I noticed they sold two Polish brands, Nessa and Gorsenia: while looking through the Nessa options, I found this bra for only $15, Nessa Moly.

I do like the Nessa Moly and it has relatively good reviews on bratabase.com for fit, and it's been reviewed as good quality fabric as well. So, I was curious about this bra. Although I've never tried a Nessa bra before, so I am unsure of my sizing!

Since I live in Canada, I tried their Canadian website, which is Fruugo.ca. Low and behold, I found another bra I liked, this time in 32GG UK.

MesDessous.FR sells Empriente, Prima Donna, Aubade, etc.

Lots of French brands! MesDessous.Fr  translation of mes dessous to English = my underwear.

This week they are having "French Days" and some of their bras are marked down 50% which makes Empriente bras in the "affordable" range (under $65), even with the shipping - which varies as shipping depends on how much one orders.

I convert Euros to USD as a 1:1 ratio because it's usually close.

https://www.mesdessous.fr/en/77279-private-sales/s-1/brand_2-empreinte/category-women_2

These bras would still qualify as "affordable" in my book because they still total around $65 usd (which I consider a bra $65 and under as affordable).

43 Euros, I think this is one of the more popular Empreinte bras - totally would not work for my breast shape at all. Also, it's not fitting the above model great either (but c'est la vie!).

Anyways, these would be really good prices for Empreinte bras, I am *not sure* how often this bra store/website has sales! Like I said, this is French Days. I think this sale just started a couple days ago, too.

Prima Donna bras

Prima Donna are not all discounted to 50%, maybe b/c Prima Donna is a Belgium brand -not French like Empreinte.

Regardless, these are still good discounts on bras that normally run $100 usd + !

Again, the shipping cost depends on how much one orders, so it's best to *know your sizes* in these bras. If you just order one bra, it's like $20 usd to the United States, but if you order multiple bras, the shipping price decreases, and you can even get "free shipping" if one orders over a certain amt (like 100 euros??? I'm not entirely sure) To mail back to France costs about $20 as well, so you will waste $ having to exchange for a different style. So, it's best to order only the styles you know work for you, imo!!

"Where can I buy affordable bras in 36K?"

 answering this question https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/xl6wmh/does_anyone_know_where_to_buy_36k_bras_for_cheap/

Poshmark, Mercari, Ebay, Vinted - these all work for the U.S.

However I went on to Canada's Poshmark - not one in that size! (most were mislabeled).

I searched like Broad Lingerie https://shop.broadlingerie.com/collections/sale-1?gf_238106=36&gf_238108=K  they actually only have three bras in that size.

Possibly amazon as well.

Strategy: Go right to the source

My friend who is Polish ironically likes this brand, Pour Moi, which is a U.K. brand.  Their shipping is only £5.50,

Compared to Canada, international shipping is quite cheap from the UK, so these bras end up being cheaper just to buy from PourMoi.co.uk

Pour Moi is a budget brand, so this boutique marks things up [kind of] unnecessarily high, IMO; if people want to pay 3x as much to have things readily available - that is their prerogative! However, if a person already knows *this brand works for them* and they're willing to wait 20-25 working days (about a month).

It's a lot to pay for a brand that's made in China.

Sports Bras from SportsBras.ca

They do ship to the U.S. and many other places; if you happen to live in Calgary, AB.
